Zhitong Financial APP learned that Citigroup (C.US) announced a personnel appointment, with Lee Lung Nien appointed as the Country Head and Chief Compliance Officer of Banking in Singapore. He will be responsible for overseeing all of Citigroup's operations and business in Singapore, managing key clients and regulatory relationships, and ensuring a robust risk and control framework. This is the first time in 50 years that a Singaporean has been appointed to the top position at Citigroup in Singapore.
