Zhang Xiaoyong, Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee in Shanghai, stated at a news conference on September 16 that Jing'an District in Shanghai is vigorously developing its first-store economy. In 2021, a total of 991 first stores have been introduced, including 15 global first stores, 163 Asian and national first stores. In recent years, Jing'an District has integrated commerce with culture, creativity, exhibitions, arts, and technology, and has applied new technologies such as VR, ultra-high definition, metaverse, and artificial intelligence to create innovative scenarios, effectively driving service consumption and goods consumption.
