The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that in the first 8 months of this year, China's import and export trade of goods with ASEAN countries increased by 9.7% year-on-year. ASEAN continues to maintain its position as China's largest trading partner. In the first 8 months of this year, China's import and export trade with ASEAN amounted to 4.93 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.7%, which was 6.2 percentage points higher than the overall foreign trade growth rate of China during the same period, accounting for 16.7% of China's total import and export value.
