New regulations will be introduced, aiming to implement a licensing system for the transportation of liquid food products such as edible vegetable oil and alcoholic beverages.

The reporter learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation yesterday that in order to regulate the bulk transportation of key liquid food products on the road, improve the licensing and supervision system for bulk transportation of key liquid food products on the road, and ensure food safety, the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with relevant departments, has drafted the "Catalogue of Key Liquid Food Products Implementing the Road Bulk Transportation Permit System," "Regulations for Management of Bulk Transportation of Key Liquid Food Products on the Road," and "Code of Practice for Management of Bulk Transportation of Liquid Food Products on the Road", intending to implement admission permits and full-route bill management for bulk transportation of key liquid food products on the road, and strictly prevent transportation pollution risks. The new regulations are now open for public consultation and will be issued in the near future.
