Guangzhou: By the end of 2025, strive for the scale of no less than 5 car network interactive aggregation businesses participating in demand response pilot projects.

The Industrial and Information Technology Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality has issued the "Implementation Plan for the Pilot Cities of National Car Network Interactive Scale Application in Guangzhou". The plan mentions actively carrying out pilot projects to respond to city-level needs across the city, issuing the "Guangzhou City Virtual Power Plant Implementation Rules" and other supporting policies, and improving the mechanism process for aggregating and participating in city-level demand response for car network interaction. By the end of 2025, it is expected that the scale of car network interactive aggregation businesses participating in demand response pilots will be no less than 5, with no less than 360 participating charging and swapping stations, no less than 5800 charging piles, and a maximum response capacity of 20,000 kilowatts.
