In response to declining demand in North America, Stellantis will halt the development of the Ram 1500 electric pickup truck.

Stellantis recently stated that due to a slowdown in demand for full-size electric trucks in the North American market, the company is reassessing its product strategy and will cease development of the Ram 1500 electric pickup truck. The company will also rename its extended-range electric pickup truck as the Ram 1500 REV.
