Economic Daily: Regulating administrative inspections involving enterprises is not a one-time task.

In the first half of this year, the number of national administrative inspections decreased by more than 30% compared to the same period last year, greatly reducing the burden on enterprises. This indicates that relevant departments are seriously implementing the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, actively carrying out special actions to regulate administrative law enforcement involving enterprises, and effectively curbing "random inspections". Regulating administrative inspections involving enterprises not only creates a good business environment for enterprises, but also resolutely safeguards public safety and the legitimate rights and interests of the people. This requires that law enforcement agencies must grasp the policy limits of "leniency and severity" in inspections and carry out administrative inspections on the track of the rule of law. "Be strict when necessary, be lenient when appropriate", ensuring that there is neither overstepping nor omission. For administrative inspections related to complaints and reports from the public that are closely related to the vital interests of the people, they must be carefully investigated, and must not be perfunctory.
