The finals of the Hong Kong Badminton Open in 2025 took place on the 14th, with the Chinese team sweeping all the championships: Li Shifeng won the men's singles championship, Wang Ziyi won the women's singles championship, Liang Weikang/Wang Chang won the men's doubles championship, Jia Yifan/Zhang Shuxian won the women's doubles championship, and Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping won the mixed doubles championship.

Brazilian President Lula expressed his pride in the Brazilian Supreme Court's verdict sentencing former president Bolsonaro to more than 27 years in prison for attempted coup.
