Four car companies, including Xiaomi, Xiaopeng, NIO, and Deep Blue, were interviewed. The methods used to spread rumors and smear these companies are highly similar, including using AI to generate false information, leaving abusive comments in the comment section, and pre-releasing negative news to smear the company's products. Some platforms even manipulate the titles to direct different traffic to positive and negative content. Our legal department has gathered evidence against hundreds of accounts, filed dozens of lawsuits, and is currently awaiting court hearings. Several cases have also been reported to the police and are under investigation. This joint effort by six government departments to crack down on black PR and fake online accounts requires internet platforms to strengthen their detection and control of fake accounts and malicious comments using AI technology, in order to create a clean and transparent environment for the development of the Chinese automotive industry."
