The world's largest asset management company will announce a 500 million investment plan for a data center in the UK during President Trump's state visit next week. BlackRock Group plans to establish a joint venture with Digital Gravity Partners, a digital infrastructure investment management company, to focus on acquiring existing data centers and modernizing them to enhance their capacity. BlackRock Group manages assets exceeding $12.5 trillion and has a large business footprint in the UK. The group is also set to open a new office in Edinburgh next week, expected to hire approximately 1,300 employees.
