On September 13, Ge Xianqing, the Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., revealed at the 2025 Taida Automobile Forum that in the field of intelligent driving, GAC Group will focus on researching and developing end-to-end large model architectures based on generative AI (artificial intelligence) and deepen cooperation with technology enterprises. According to Ge Xianqing, GAC Group's intelligent driving technology has achieved coverage from L2 to L4 scenarios, the city lead-assist system has been implemented nationwide, obtained the first batch of L3 on-road pilot qualifications, independently developed the L4 Robotaxi for demonstration operations, and jointly launched the first mass-produced L4 vehicle with global adaptation capabilities with Didi.
