Ren Hongbin leads a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Denmark.

From September 9th to 12th local time, the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, REN Hongbin, led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Copenhagen, Denmark. Taking the 50th anniversary of China-Europe diplomatic relations and the 75th anniversary of China-Denmark diplomatic relations as an opportunity, the visit aimed to strengthen exchanges between the business communities of China and Europe and China and Denmark, and deepen practical cooperation in trade, investment, and other areas. During the visit, REN Hongbin had extensive exchanges with Danish political and business leaders, meeting with the Danish Foreign Ministry's State Secretary Hansen, the Deputy Permanent State Secretary of the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs, Hertz, as well as key officials from Maersk, Novo Nordisk, the Danish Green Kingdom, the Danish Shipping Association, and other enterprises and institutions. He also visited the Novo Nordisk factory in Copenhagen, focusing on introducing China's modernization driven by high-quality development, promoting high-level opening-up, and continuously cultivating a first-class business environment with marketization, rule of law, and internationalization. REN emphasized that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will work hand in hand with Danish political and business circles to deepen high-level practical cooperation led by sustainability, jointly safeguard free trade and smooth global supply chains, inject more content into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Denmark, and make greater contributions to mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Europe. During the visit, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Confederation of Danish Industry jointly held a high-level roundtable for the business communities of China and Denmark, and promoted the Fourth Links Expo. Representatives from Chinese and Danish government departments, institutions, and enterprises engaged in dialogues, discussions, and exchanges on key cooperation areas such as trade and investment, green transformation, transportation logistics, biomedicine, and the digital economy.
