Industrial and Commercial Bank of China holds working meeting with Saudi Ministry of Finance.

On September 11th local time, Liu Jun, President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), visited Saudi Arabia and met with Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan. The two sides exchanged views on the macroeconomic situation in China and Saudi Arabia, promoting economic and financial cooperation between the two countries, and the high-quality development of ICBC in Saudi Arabia. ICBC was the first Chinese bank to enter the Saudi market, with branches in Riyadh and Jeddah. Leveraging the group's mechanism for collaboration in the Middle East region, ICBC actively serves the high-level cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia. This year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia. ICBC will seriously implement important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to leverage its advantages in network layout, customer base, RMB business, fund transactions, and continuously optimize financial services to contribute financial strength to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia, and to build a shared future for China and Arab countries. During the visit, Liu Jun also visited the Saudi central bank, Saudi Electricity and Water Company, and other regulatory agencies and important clients, and conducted research and condolences at ICBC's branches in Riyadh and Jeddah.
