94 elementary school students in Luofeng, Guangdong have experienced gastrointestinal discomfort one after another, the Luofeng authority has reported.

On September 12, the Education Bureau of Lu Feng City reported that on the morning of September 11, 94 students from the primary school section of Puning Huamei Experimental School in Shanwei City gradually developed gastrointestinal discomfort. The school promptly sent the students to the hospital for treatment. The hospital opened a green channel and made every effort to provide medical care. As of now, all students are in stable condition, with 85 students returning home or to school and 9 students remaining in the hospital for observation upon their parents' request. After the incident, the Lu Feng City Committee and Government quickly organized an investigation and disposal, with the education, health, market supervision, and public security departments jointly carrying out related work. The specific reasons are still under investigation. Those responsible will be dealt with in accordance with the law and regulations based on the investigation results.
