Recently, the South Korean fashion brand Mardi Mercredi is planning to withdraw from multiple stores in China, starting to offer discounts to clear inventory. The brand's Chinese agent, Mandoya Brand Management Co., Ltd., responded to Interface News, stating: "The current withdrawal is mainly due to adjustments in some store operations, and the group has launched more new brands, such as Raive and Rest&Recreation. More group resources will also be invested in the development of new brands." Mardi Mercredi officially entered China in 2022, opening multiple stores in core shopping malls in first and second-tier cities. There have been many counterfeit Mardi Mercredi products in the Chinese market, and in recent years, counterfeit brands have opened multiple stores offline. Mandoya previously issued a statement at the end of 2024, stating that it is the only legal operator of Mardi Mercredi in mainland China.
