On September 11th, the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released the August Power Battery Monthly Information for 2025. In August, China's total exports of power and other batteries amounted to 22.6GWh, a month-on-month decrease of 2.6% and a year-on-year increase of 23.9%. The total exports accounted for 16.8% of the monthly sales. Of this, the export volume of power batteries was 15.1GWh, accounting for 66.6% of the total export volume, a month-on-month increase of 1.9% and a year-on-year increase of 35.7%; the export volume of other batteries was 7.6GWh, accounting for 33.4% of the total export volume, a month-on-month decrease of 10.4% and a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. From January to August, China's total exports of power and other batteries reached 173.1GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 48.5%.
