A batch of competitive advantage industries with international competitiveness such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, lithium batteries, ships, and marine engineering equipment are being nurtured and grown. A large number of new formats and modes such as flexible customization, shared manufacturing, smart logistics, and intelligent security are emerging faster. Last year, China's new energy vehicle production and sales were equivalent to 9.5 times the total for the full year of 2020, and the output of photovoltaic and wind power equipment also ranked among the top in the world. At the same time, our high-level industrial carriers continue to grow, accumulating the cultivation of more than 60 emerging industries and forming 23 national autonomous innovation demonstration zones in advanced manufacturing clusters in emerging industries.
