State Administration of Work Safety: "Key Research and Development Catalogue for Intelligent Mining Robots" Approved to Accelerate the Replacement of Hazardous, Arduous, and Dirty Jobs with Robots.
The National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau has issued a notice that the "Key Research and Development Catalog of Intelligent Mining Robots" has been approved by the 14th bureau meeting of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau for the year 2025. The National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau encourages and supports mining companies, equipment companies, universities, research institutes, and other institutions to jointly carry out scientific and technological research, accelerate the research and development and industrial application of intelligent mining robots, promote the substitution of robots for dangerous, arduous, and dirty jobs, effectively prevent and control major safety risks, and enhance the intrinsic safety level of mines. The National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau will actively provide relevant policy support and information services.
