The Chinese government has sent the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid to Afghanistan for earthquake relief.

On the early morning of September 7, 2025, the Chinese government shipped the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid supplies to Afghanistan for earthquake relief. The relief supplies mainly include tents, blankets, and other items, which were transported to Kabul by two Chinese Air Force Y-20 aircraft. The remaining batches of relief supplies will be gradually airlifted to Kabul in the coming days and distributed to the disaster victims as soon as possible.
