Hang Seng Bank: Margaret Leung resigns as Executive Director and CEO, Anita Fung takes over.

On September 4, Hang Seng Bank announced that Prudence Chan, will retire as the bank's Chief Executive Officer in October and will be transferred back to HSBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited to serve as Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong region, providing advice to the Co-Chief Executive Officers for HSBC Asia and the Middle East. Prudence Chan will no longer serve as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, and will also no longer serve as Chairman of the Operations Committee and member of the Nomination Committee. Helen Wong, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Hong Kong, will take over as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, effective from October.
