On September 4th, the China Insurance Industry Association issued the first set of comprehensive insurance demonstration clauses for major technical equipment, the trial version of the first batch of new materials comprehensive insurance demonstration clauses, and accompanying underwriting and claims service guidelines. This is an important measure for the insurance industry to implement the five major tasks such as science and technology finance, improve the science and technology insurance policy system, promote the development of science and technology insurance, and effectively serve the national strategy of building a strong manufacturing country. The first set of comprehensive insurance demonstration clauses for major technical equipment released this time includes five main coverage clauses for the first set of major technical equipment liability insurance, quality assurance insurance, installation testing period liability insurance and quality assurance insurance, and domestic transportation insurance; the first batch of new materials comprehensive insurance demonstration clauses includes three main coverage clauses for the first batch of new materials liability insurance, quality assurance insurance, and domestic transportation insurance; the service guidelines include underwriting service guidelines and claims service guidelines. Production enterprises can negotiate independently with insurance companies based on the technical maturity, application scenarios, historical claims payment levels, and other risk characteristics of new equipment and materials to determine the types of insurance and insurance rates, achieving more precise insurance service guarantees and more efficient insurance compensation policies.
