Counterpoint data shows that in Q2 2025, global shipments of foldable smartphones grew by 45% year-on-year, driven by the continued strong performance in the Chinese market and the robust recovery in the US market. The growth in the US market is mainly attributed to the strong demand for Motorola's latest Razr 60 series flip phones. China remains the country with the highest shipment of foldable devices globally, in line with the global trend. Despite Samsung's latest generation Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 7 achieving record high sales in Q3, its market share has significantly declined.
