Fitch Ratings: MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) awarded "A-" rating for US dollar senior notes.

On September 2, Fitch Ratings awarded a rating of A- to the senior unsecured notes issued by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. (MUFG.US). The notes were issued in three tranches: $1 billion with a floating rate and callable after 6 years, $1 billion with a fixed rate and callable after 6 years, and $1 billion with a fixed rate and callable after 11 years.
