Myanmar's acting president Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

This morning, the Acting President of Myanmar, Min Aung Lai, arrived in Beijing by high-speed rail. He will attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory of the world anti-fascist war. Prior to this, Min Aung Lai was invited to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held in Tianjin. China and Myanmar are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. In recent years, China and Myanmar have continued to deepen cooperation in various fields, and China has been Myanmar's largest trading partner for many years. In March of this year, a strong earthquake in Mandalay, Myanmar caused significant casualties and property damage. China was among the first to send rescue forces, provide emergency humanitarian aid, and support Myanmar in rebuilding their homes.
