August heavy truck sales reached approximately 84,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 35%.

According to the data preliminarily obtained by the First Commercial Vehicle Network, in August 2025, China's heavy truck market sold a total of about 84,000 vehicles, a slight decrease of 1% compared to July of this year, and an increase of about 35% compared to the 62,500 vehicles in the same period last year. This also marks the fifth consecutive increase in the heavy truck market since April of this year - with sales increasing by 6.5% year-on-year in April, 13.6% in May, 37% in June, 47% in July, and a 35% year-on-year increase in August.
