Despite this, Trump generally praised his former donor and downplayed the differences between them. He also insisted that the billionaire had issues that needed to be resolved. "He's a good guy. It's okay that he crossed the line because you know that's just one thing," Trump said about the Tesla CEO. Trump also stated that Musk is "80% a super genius, and the other 20% has some issues. Once he resolves those 20% of issues, he will be great, but he is facing some challenges." Musk has not responded to requests for comment.
