On August 30, Huang Hong, former Vice Chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, suggested during his keynote speech at the 7th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Financial Development Forum that the strategy for financial development in the Greater Bay Area should be incorporated into the national "14th Five-Year Plan" for coordinated planning, strengthening top-level design, promoting the Greater Bay Area to achieve higher and more sustainable development, and establishing a unified financial market in the Greater Bay Area as soon as possible.
