Chicago soybean futures rose more than 6.3% in August, while soybean oil accumulated a 5% decline.

In August, the Bloomberg Commodity Grain Index accumulated a 1.86% increase. The index closed at 29.6195 points on Friday in New York, continuing to trend upwards since dropping to 28.2567 points on August 7th. CBOT corn futures accumulated a 1.51% increase, closing at $4.20 per bushel, continuing to rise after dropping to $3.92 on August 12th. CBOT wheat futures accumulated a 1.75% decrease, closing at $5.3375 per bushel, with most of the month seeing low-level fluctuations, dropping to $5.1725 on August 20th. CBOT soybean futures accumulated a 6.34% increase, closing at $10.53 per bushel. From August 1st to 12th, soybean futures were fluctuating at levels below $10, but saw a short-term uptrend on the 12th, reaching a high of $10.6275 on the 22nd. Soybean meal futures accumulated a 4.60% increase, while soybean oil futures accumulated a 5.01% decrease.
