The data shows that in July 2025, the total trading volume in China's foreign exchange market was 28.28 trillion RMB. Of this, 4.06 trillion RMB was traded in the bank-customer market, and 24.22 trillion RMB was traded in the interbank market; the spot market had a total trading volume of 9.47 trillion RMB, and the derivative market had a total trading volume of 18.81 trillion RMB. From January to July 2025, the cumulative trading volume in China's foreign exchange market was 179.15 trillion RMB.
