Equinor discovered an oil and gas condensate field in the Norwegian Sea.

On August 29, the Norwegian Maritime Authority issued a statement stating that Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor has confirmed the presence of oil and gas resources in exploration well 6506/12-PB-3 H. Preliminary estimates indicate that the discovery has recoverable reserves equivalent to 1-3 million standard cubic meters of oil equivalent, equivalent to 6.3 to 18.9 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalent.
