According to the WiseFinance APP, on Wednesday, Albemarle (ALB.US), one of the largest lithium producers in the world, rose by 7.5%, becoming one of the strongest performing stocks in the S&P 500 index that day. Prior to this, UBS released an analysis report stating that if there is a large-scale and long-term supply interruption in the Chinese lithium industry, it may affect up to 15% of global lithium production. This news directly pushed up Albemarle's stock price.
