Create multiple industry records, the first tunnel of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project in Guozigou was successfully connected today.

Today, the first mountain tunnel of the control project of the west-to-east natural gas energy transmission main channel in the western part of Xinjiang's Yili will be completed. The project has set multiple industry records, and China's construction capabilities for long-distance pipelines in complex geological conditions have achieved a new breakthrough. It is understood that the Gongliu section of the second and third lines of the west-to-east natural gas transmission project is expected to be put into operation in September 2027. So far, the second and third lines of the west-to-east natural gas transmission pipeline have transported over 557 billion cubic meters of natural gas, benefiting around 500 million people along the pipeline.
