Consultation demand for properties outside the Shanghai Outer Ring Road is sharply increasing.

After the release of the new real estate policy in Shanghai today, at four o'clock in the afternoon, there were still many homebuyers coming to see the property at a new housing estate in Baoshan District, Shanghai, even though it was a weekday afternoon. The person in charge of the estate said that the number of appointments and inquiries today was three times higher than usual. Data shows that as of August 22, Shanghai has sold about 30,000 new homes this year, with over 60% of them located outside the outer ring road. As for second-hand homes, approximately 127,000 units were sold from January to July, with over 50% of them located outside the outer ring road.
