On August 23, local time, the North Korean Missile Bureau conducted test launches against various targets to verify the combat performance of two newly improved anti-aircraft missile systems. Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, observed the test launches. According to the evaluation of the test launches, the new anti-aircraft missile weapon systems demonstrated superior combat rapid response capabilities against various airborne targets such as unmanned attack aircraft and cruise missiles. The two improved warhead technologies are highly suitable for eliminating various airborne targets.
