On August 23 local time, according to investigation files revealed by German authorities, the "Nord Stream-1" and "Nord Stream-2" natural gas pipelines were reportedly destroyed by at least four timed bombs delivered by a sailboat to the Baltic Sea. Recently, a Ukrainian man was arrested in Italy on suspicion of sabotage to the Russian natural gas pipeline. German authorities believe that the arrested man planned and coordinated the attack that took place in 2022. According to the disclosed documents, the explosions on "Nord Stream-1" and "Nord Stream-2" were carried out using the sailboat "Andromeda" as a base. It is said that the sailboat had six crew members, four of whom were divers who placed the bombs on the natural gas pipelines underwater at a depth of 70 to 80 meters. The documents show that these bombs weighed between 14 and 27 kilograms. (CCTV News)
