On August 23, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity industry statistics for January to July. As of the end of July, the national cumulative installed capacity for electricity generation was 3.67 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.2% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity for solar power generation was 1.11 billion kilowatts, an increase of 50.8% year-on-year; the installed capacity for wind power was 0.57 billion kilowatts, an increase of 22.1% year-on-year. The average utilization of national power generation equipment from January to July decreased by 188 hours compared to the same period last year, with a total of 1806 hours.
