The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission reported on August 23rd that, according to the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, recently, with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated an investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Wu Xingli, former Deputy General Manager of Datong Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd. After investigation, it was found that Wu Xingli had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and missions, resisted organizational inspections; disregarded the spirit of the Eight-point Regulation of the Central Committee, accepted gifts and consumer cards, accepted travel arrangements that could affect the impartial execution of official duties, used vehicles and housing of management service objects; violated organizational principles by not reporting personal matters as required, used his power to seek benefits for others in terms of job adjustments; lost his integrity by engaging in profit-making activities, using his influence to benefit relatives' business activities; sought profits for others in equipment procurement, settlement of funds, and illegally accepted huge sums of money. Wu Xingli has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and suspected bribery crimes. His behavior has been serious and detrimental since the 18th National Congress of the Party, and he should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Civil Servant Discipline Law of the People's Republic of China," after the deliberation of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Wu Xingli from the Party, cancel his entitlements as per regulations, confiscate his ill-gotten gains, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organ for investigation and prosecution, along with the related properties.
