The first Sino-African human rights symposium was held in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, on the 22nd. More than 200 human rights officials, experts, scholars, and representatives from social organizations, businesses, think tanks, and media from China and more than 40 African countries gathered to discuss the theme of "Building a Sino-African Community of Shared Destiny and Jointly Achieving the Right to Development".
