110 people have died from dengue fever in Bangladesh so far this year.

According to data released by the Bangladesh Health Services Division on August 21st, the country reported 5 new deaths from dengue fever on that day, bringing the total number of deaths from dengue fever this year to 110. The data also shows that there were 311 new confirmed cases of dengue fever reported nationwide on the same day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases this year to 27,782.
