According to the Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission, in July of this year, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Shanghai reached 129.138 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year. The vitality of Shanghai's commercial districts has been renewed, driving the growth of total retail sales in July. The Shanghai Municipal Commerce Commission revealed that from January to June, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 826.04 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year, with the growth rate increasing by 0.3 percentage points compared to January to May. Among retail categories related to commercial districts, consumer favorites such as clothing and textiles, high-quality food, and communication equipment have seen growth rates higher than the average level.
