The first atmospheric field in Hubei with a reserves of over one trillion cubic meters is born.

On August 21st, it was learned from the Sinopec News Office that the proven reserves of shale gas in the Red Star Shale Gas Field in Jianghan Oilfield have successfully passed the approval of the Ministry of Natural Resources, with a volume of 1650.25 billion cubic meters. This marks the birth of Hubei's first atmospheric field with a volume of over one trillion cubic meters, and also the first large-scale Permian shale gas field in China. As the core area of this gas field, Lichuan City will further contribute to safeguarding national energy security in Hubei.
