Our country took the lead in formulating 1079 international standards, and the influence of Chinese standards overseas continues to grow.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, more than 13,000 new national standards were issued, bringing the total number of national standards to over 47,000. The ratio of important science and technology plan projects forming standards exceeds 57%. The implementation of the new industry standard navigation and the high-end equipment manufacturing standardization foundation project led to the issuance of over 2,400 national standards in key areas such as artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing, creating new standards for new fields and new tracks. After the implementation of the newly revised standard for energy consumption limit of crude steel, over 10 million tons of standard coal can be saved annually. Over 500 mandatory national standards were issued for safety in production and product safety, with a significant increase in the number of new mandatory national standards initiated and issued in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year. Important standards for gas appliances and electric bicycles were implemented, and the newly revised formaldehyde emission limit for artificial panels was raised to E0 level, meeting the strictest requirements globally. Additionally, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China led the development of 1,079 international standards, and adopted over 6,900 international standards. Eight railway cooperation projects, such as the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the China-Laos railway, and the Indonesia-Yawang high-speed railway, are being built using Chinese standards, further enhancing China's influence overseas.
