From January to July 2025, the online retail sales of agricultural products increased by 7.4% year-on-year, and the per capita disposable income of rural residents increased by 6.2% in the first half of this year. E-commerce has further enriched the supply of goods and services in rural areas, allowing farmers to buy high-quality and affordable products without leaving their homes. From January to July 2025, the online retail sales in rural areas increased by 6.4% year-on-year. In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will continue to focus on promoting rural revitalization comprehensively, work closely with relevant departments to implement the high-quality development project of rural e-commerce, further improve the application level of rural e-commerce, promote the deep integration of e-commerce with the three industries of agriculture, industry, and services in rural areas, and help increase farmers' income and rural consumption.
