Announcement from Rhine Biotech: At around 5:40 on August 21, 2025, an explosion occurred in a drying equipment in one of the company's drying workshops. As of now, the accident has resulted in 1 fatality, 3 serious injuries, and 4 minor injuries. Following the accident, the company immediately activated the emergency response plan, established an on-site emergency leadership team, and cooperated with relevant government departments to carry out emergency response and on-site rescue work, making every effort to treat the injured. Currently, the specific cause of the accident is under investigation, and the company is fully cooperating with the government regulatory authorities to handle the treatment of the injured, post-incident recovery, and accident investigation work. The production process of the company's plant extraction includes pretreatment, extraction, separation, purification, concentration, drying, and packaging, among others. This accident occurred in one of the drying workshops, causing certain losses to the assets of the workshop and equipment. Preliminary estimates indicate property losses of over 2 million yuan.
