The State Administration of Radio and Television recently issued the implementation of "Further Enriching TV Content and Promoting Measures to Improve TV Listening Content Supply", known as "21 TV Measures". It proposes measures including improving the number of TV drama episodes and the interval between seasons, encouraging and supporting excellent short dramas to be aired on television, supporting the localization and adaptation of global excellent IP, improving the review of TV drama content, and launching pilot programs of "reviewing and revising while airing". In addition, these measures break some of the restrictions in the original industry policies, emphasizing the need to strengthen content development with multiple measures based on industry practice to increase the supply of high-quality TV content. Hu Xiang, deputy researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Administration of Radio and Television, stated that this reform actively adapts to the dual changes of media forms and audience aesthetic characteristics.
