Innovation builds new engines for performance growth, private listed companies show new vitality in the first half of the year.
In the first half of 2025, private listed companies handed in a vibrant and resilient report card. Data from Choice shows that as of August 20th, 623 private enterprises have disclosed their performance for the first half of 2025 on the A-share market. Among them, 528 companies achieved profitability, accounting for over 80%. Specifically, 318 companies saw a year-on-year increase in net profit, while 46 successfully turned losses into profits. Behind this positive trend is the keen grasp of development opportunities in commercial aviation, robotics, AI computing power and other tracks by most private enterprises. By increasing research and development investments, actively producing innovative products, and expanding application scenarios, they have been able to improve their business performance.
