Afghanistan's Prime Minister Ahun meeting with Wang Yi

On August 20, 2025, local time, Afghan Prime Minister Ahang met with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Kabul. Ahang asked Wang Yi to convey warm greetings to the Chinese leaders, stating that the Chinese government and people have always held goodwill and a positive attitude towards Afghanistan, thanking China for speaking up for Afghanistan in the international arena. Afghanistan, like China, adheres to the principle of non-interference in internal affairs and is willing to coexist and cooperate friendly with other countries. Over the past twenty years, Afghanistan has been ravaged by war and chaos, with some Western countries still maliciously slandering Afghanistan. The Afghan government will spare no efforts to address issues, promote development, improve people's livelihoods, and will not and does not want to cause trouble for other countries.
