On August 19 local time, BlueOval SK, a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and South Korean battery manufacturer SK On, announced that its first battery factory in Kentucky, USA, has started production. The batteries produced at this factory will be used for the all-electric version of the Ford F-150 Lightning.
