The first national marine museum alliance was established in Tianjin.

The WeChat public account "Tianjin Releases" announced that in order to promote the development of marine heritage conservation, enhance China's international discourse power and cultural soft power in marine heritage conservation, under the guidance of the Ministry of Natural Resources, on August 18, the China Oceanic Society Marine Heritage Conservation Professional Committee and Marine Museum Alliance were established and awarded in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City. China's cultural heritage conservation model has shifted from the "solo battle" of the cultural relics department to "collaborative cooperation" among multiple departments and industries. It is understood that the committee and alliance will integrate marine heritage and museum collections from various regions, promote deep cooperation in the fields of marine heritage conservation, exhibition planning, cultural sharing, education dissemination, and cultural and creative industry development, solve problems such as fragmented protection and dispersed research, and promote the cooperative development of marine museums nationwide.
