Australian bond yields once again widened, while consumer confidence in Australia remains strong.

Consumer confidence in Australia has surged to its highest level since February 2022, with Australian government bond yields briefly widening. The 3-year bond yield rose by 4 basis points to 3.42% before falling back to 3.41% prior to the data release. The 10-year bond yield also increased by 5 basis points to 4.32%, up from 4.31% previously.
